The tools keep your data in your browser

The Widow Pension Law Checker and the Lineage Evidence Matrix store what you type only in your own browser's local storage. Their keys begin with "pi.toolA" and "pi.toolB". The tools do not send that data to this site or to anyone else.

Local storage is not encrypted or private from others on your device

Local storage is saved unencrypted in your browser profile on this device. Anyone who uses the same device and the same browser profile, or who can open that profile's files, could see what you entered. Private or incognito windows usually discard it when they close.

Please do not enter sensitive personal information in the tools: no Social Security numbers, account numbers, passwords, medical details, or details about living people that you would not want others on this device to read. Names, dates and short citations are all the tools need.

How to delete what the tools saved

1. Open the tool page and use its clear button. "Clear saved checker data" removes everything the Widow Pension Law Checker saved, and "Clear all matrix data" removes everything the Lineage Evidence Matrix saved. Each button deletes only its own tool's data.
2. Or delete this site's data in your browser settings (look for site data, cookies and site data, or website data, and remove patriotinlays.com).
3. Clearing your browser's history and site data for all sites also removes it.

Site analytics

This site may use a cookieless, privacy-first analytics service to count page views. It does not use analytics to read what you type into the tools.

Advertising

This site does not show ads at present. If advertising is added later, this page will be updated first to describe the advertising provider, its use of cookies, and how to opt out.
